I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Generac Power Systems (Jefferson, WI) in Dec 2013
Interview
Initial phone screen with engineering manager with the pressure washer division. Talk was largely based around project management and project ownership. My onsite visit was a time crunch. I asked for a later flight but no response. The interview onsite had changed focus from what was discussed on the phone to a job different roll altogether. And the time was too short - all one on one interviews - we ran out of time before I had to leave for the airport. It was nice to see a company still making product in the USA.

Interview
Straightforward. 3 hours long. 4 phases of interview with VP, director and staff engineers. Straightforward. Asked what if questions. Challenging and fast paced but fair. Interviewed with cross functional team members.

Interview
Standard interview process, HR phone screen then an on-site interview. It was a positive experience and I enjoyed everyone I had interacted with. I would have absolutely accepted the position except for receiving a better off elsewhere. I still believe I would have been happy at Generac.
