      Lead Web Development Instructor Interview

      Mar 3, 2019
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at General Assembly in Feb 2019

      Interview

Consisted of a phone screening and a take-home technical interview. The phone screening was non-technical and mainly asked questions about soft skills. The technical interview was a take-home and was relatively easy, though I ran into a few snags along the way.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There was a Front-End engineering test where you had to use the given REST API to query information and populate it into the HTML page using Vanilla JavaScript and to allow a user to save favorites and by writing them to a JSON file.
