I applied and had two interviews. I was then asked to complete an assessment that requested the following: - 5 unique event concepts w/ a general description of each event concept and 2-3 key audience takeaways - Choose one event concept and develop a marketing plan with a $0: including a promotional plan, chosen marketing channels, list key event partners, and how would you send outreach to partners - Create a full run of show for the day detailing what you want the attendees to do when and where - Create a run of show for the moderator including what you want the moderator to do and a full list of questions for a 2 hour event - Describe how you would follow up with attendees and event no-shows, what information would you provide to incentivize them to attend - Draft two full emails: one for outreach to potential speaker and one for potential partners This is a lot of work for a general assessment.....AND THEN THEY GHOSTED ME. I followed up multiple times and no response. After seeing so many similar stories here, I get a feeling they are utilizing these "take-home tests" to get free ideas.
