As I’ve seen other reviews state, they have a practice of giving interviewees a take-home task which they basically use as free labor so they can implement your ideas without paying you.
After 6 interviews and a lengthy take-home assignment in which I gave an in-depth site analysis, suggestions to fix the site, and a 3-month content plan, they sent me a form reply rejection from a no-reply email address. Didn’t even have the courtesy to have their recruiter (who I should mention found me and reached out to me about the job in the first place) call me to let me know. All around incredibly shady business practices and I’m sure glad I’m not working here. If it’s that bad in the interview process, I can only imagine how bad it’d be working here. Not to mention, if they’re continuously scamming interviewees for free work, I doubt they can afford to pay competitive salaries. And from the reviews I’ve read here from former employees, it sounds like my assessment is correct. Lesson learned, I won’t be doing any more take-home assignments in interviews.
