I applied online, and within a month HR contacted me to schedule an interview. I only spoke with one manager for about an hour on the phone.
He was casual and friendly and after talking about the position, asked me to run through my resume. I gave a brief summary of everything on there and whenever something interested him he would ask a question about it and we would talk a bit about it. Nothing really too technical or tricky. Thankfully didn't ask me anything about submarines specifically, though I did try to talk about some of my aircraft coursework and some of the similarities between the two.

The interviews were generally based on a review of my resume, and how I felt I would fit into their respective team. Your individual experience will vary based on the team you are placed to interview for, as well as whoever is interviewing you. One person asked me a bunch of brain teasers, another just generally asked about my opinions on certain tasks to gauge if I would enjoy working in their team.
I was called in for an interview with travel expenses paid for including a hotel to spend the night. During the interview I was asked basic technical questions and was also asked to bring my transcript which the hiring person went over.
