Interview
The process started with an online test of 10 Reasoning questions which were probably advanced level from my assessment. The next round was a group discussion on a non-technical topics (something about success and education). The interview panel was made up of two HR personnel, one person from a techno-commercial profile and one from manufacturing. The text-book HR questions viz. 'If we don't offer the profile of your choice?', 'Location/working hour preferences', 'Future ambitions' etc. were all there. There were only a few very basic technical questions. My area of interest is Fluids. There was a question on Siphon action, one on pumps used in ACs and a very simple gear train problem. There were questions about my outlook on the automobile industry.
