The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Genesis HealthCare in Jul 2010
Interview
I got a phone call from HR person, then scheduled interview for RN position with DON and administrator. But whome you interview with depends on where you applies, because some places are busy and you could interview with nurse educator or unit manaer.
The interview process was very simple and direct. Expectations and roles are clearly described. The interviewer allowed time for questions and assisted with answers that they were not completely sure on.
There was basically no interview. Walked in as a new grad with 0 experience and was immediately offered a position. They are obviously understaffed with agency nurses on every unit. Not safe to work here.
Everyone was friendly and professional. I received a tour of the facility and a printed version of the job description. The staff were relaxed and informative. Quick to respond to questions via email and phone.
