It was one of the most unprofessional interviews I've ever attended. Firstly, all of the interviews are via mobile phone, so you cannot see the interviewer. It was difficult to maintain any connection and to see a bigger picture of the interviewee. Secondly, my interviewer wrote to me after 10 minutes from the scheduled time of the interview that it must be rescheduled because she can't make it. It caused confusion and uncertainty because I lost my time waiting for her and then again to prepare for another interview. When we finally managed to talk, she made me feel uncomfortable and belittled - no apology or courtesy in asking how are you etc. I felt like I was not listened to as the technical knowledge of the interviewer was rather poor because she simply typed all the answers to prepared earlier standard questions. Therefore, I have not been allowed to speak up fully. It was only to tick off the boxes and reject the candidate. In the end, she just wanted to finish the conversation so quickly that I have not been given a chance to ask any questions which should be a standard and professional procedure. I also received the information about rejection of my application just before the Christmas Eve dinner, which was a disappointment and put me into a bad mood for the whole Christmas. So also the timing was inconvenient.
