Met with recruiter, this was fairly straightforward and lasted a good hour. All seemed positive. Met with the hiring manager within one week, seemed like a good chat, a lot of probing questions about how I operate, but they admittedly didn't know much about the function they were hiring for. I thought it went well, and thought the hiring manager was a good person. However received feedback that they "will be moving ahead with another candidate who we feel is a better match for this particular position" This is totally fine, and I respect that, so I asked for specific feedback on where they thought I was lacking so I can improve for next time. I was ghosted, and received no response, this is disrespectful of the candidate and their time.
