I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gensler (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Had two interviews, very generic and conceptional. Did not ask about my experience. very "artsy"
I still do not understand what projects they work on or scope of work.
Interviewers felt too busy for me, had me waiting a long time to start the interview.
They ghosted me after. Did not hear anything back. Ignored my follow up questions.... What a waste of time. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Gensler (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
The interview went smoothly overall, but the interviewer took long pauses before asking each question. Those pauses created several awkward moments of silence, making the conversation feel slower and less natural.
introduce portfolio and ask questions about your work. Do you have any onsite experience. What would you like to learnt from us. The questions are general ones for an interview.
I had 1 interview with the design director and design manager. It was straightforward and they asked about my skills and experience. It did not seem as hard as I thought it would be.
