      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Gensler (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2022

      Interview

There are three rounds to be selected to interview. Phase I: Mid-January. The review committee looks at your application (portfolio/ resume) submitted in early January and narrows down the applicant pool. Phase II: Early February. Two parts: Pre-call Interview (confirming office preferences and program details); Scheduling a 1-hour interview. Phase III: Late Feb/ Early March: 1-hour video interview. Results of whether you are a finalist are decided in Mid-March - Late March. Interview: Conducted by Consulting leadership of my top choice office. They were incredibly kind and lovely to talk to; went over my portfolio, some personality questions, and a few additional questions typical of an interview. Post-offer I was able to meet with the principal and studio director to ask questions about the office culture - great team! Overall, a pleasant and thorough process.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Gensler (New York, NY) in Mar 2022

      Interview

After two rounds of papercuts, I was granted an interview with two representatives from the New York office. I first appreciated that my interviewers hailed from my top choice of office. The interviewers were very kind and personable; they represented the company well. The actual interview questions ranged from technical to more personality-centric and, overall, I felt the process was very holistic.
