I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at George Washington University (Washington, DC) in Mar 2019
Interview
Submitted an online application, heard back within a week for a phone interview. A week after the phone interview, I was scheduled for a 3-4 hour in-person interview with multiple departments, including a panel. Following the interview I never hear back from any parties at GW, even after following up. Very unprofessional and I generally had a negative experience because of it. Almost a year after I applied I received an automated email that I had not received an offer. I think part of the program stems from the fact that they do the hiring within the department with limited involvement from HR.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at George Washington University (Washington, DC)
Interview
Very standard. Did the general cover letter and resume submission through their online portal. Had two in person interviews with different directors within the office. Heard within a month, very straightforward process. Questions were straightforward, 'describe your experience', 'what can you bring', 'where do you see yourself in x years' etc.
