I was told to come in there is a teacher assistant position and other positions as well. When I got there the interviewer told me that there were no teacher assistant jobs and just para jobs for less money. .I am looking for a job like most people in order to make money otherwise I would volunteer, and I was told that I seem to be well..... just looking for a job, and not really that interested in being a "Para". Let's not even mention that I felt mislead and surprised by the news that there were only Para positions which was not what I was told on the phone on this very that same day,my bewildered and shocked state may have been blocking my exuberance about being a para. Maybe I was surprised to drive here and wait and fill out application to be told the position that I came in for is non existent and with this I am told I don't seem like I am really into the para position. I have to say its hard enough to look for jobs....and here I really felt that I was in a vulnerable position and the person with power (interviewer) took advantage of this just because they could.
