I applied online. I interviewed at Gersh Autism Academy (Hempstead, NY) in Oct 2024
Interview
Long and drawn out. No response after the interview. The team just simply can't be honest with who they want. Make sure that you have other options when interviewing with them. They may never call you back.

Interview
There is no process during hiring or during employment. Very unprofessional interview with no specifics on the position. Did not indulge the true expectations of the job and was clear there was no job security a revolving door with teachers and administration.
I applied online. I interviewed at Gersh Autism Academy (Huntington, NY) in Oct 2011
Interview
The interview process was multi-step. It included a tour of the school, meeting with the director, the office staff and Mr. Gersh. At times it was a bit unconventional with the waiting and the line of questioning. There was a lot of discussion about the history of the organization, the owner's personal experiences and ADHD. Everyone was very friendly and it was a very comfortable semi-casual environment.
