Initially, the hiring manager was very communicative. However, due to the person's traveling, the emails would reach me very late. They asked that I do a "homework assignment" that was not sent to me at the appropriate time as promised. The instructions for the assignment were contradictory and unorganized. - It felt almost rushed. Although I completed the assignment, I was not happy at how extensive the assignments where: a marketing business plan with budget proposal, 3 suggestions for community management, and marketing objectives for the mobile app. When my live interview date arrived, they wanted a 4-5 hour window in which to interview. I was not told that I would be interviewing 4-5 people. To my surprise, the employees of this company were apathetic and lacked diversity. During my interview with the hiring manager, did not understand the differences between their product and their agenda. The work culture is very tech start-up with the office being in a large warehouse type office. It was not insulated and had a glass meeting room. Overall, I was happy that I did not get an offer.
