I was contacted by an internal recruiter for a phone call. The call was one sided- it seemed like they were just collecting information about my current job--for comparison? for research? I was told very little about the company, the role or what they were looking for. I try to be optimistic, but right after the call ended, I had gut feeling this recruiter was self-serving and only looking to collect info for her own reference. As a "senior recruiter" for the company, I was disgusted at her actions. She didn't follow through as she said she would. My impression was she is unprofessional, did not do her job well (with me), left me with a bad impression of her company and as an end result, I did not want to pursue this company.
