I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Gilead Sciences in Apr 2012
Interview
I received an email about Gilead seeking an intern for the QA department through the chemistry club at my community college. I applied to the internship position by sending my resume and I was contacting directly by the director of the QA department in Gilead. We had about an hour long discussion about my experience, the position, the company, and pay. I accepted the offer because I had very little work experience
I interviewed at Gilead Sciences (Foster City, CA)
Interview
Consisted of panel interview with hiring manager, team, and other department members. There was a total of 3 different interviews, fairly straight forward, questions were fair. Overall it was a straight forward process.
Went through Aerotek recruiter, and had a quick 10-15 phone screen with a liaison of sorts. Then set up a 1 hr formal Zoom interview with someone from the team and the person I spoke with on the phone screen.
