I applied on Ginkgo's website and didn't hear back for over a month. I figured it had gone into the application abyss, but I got an email one day from the head of the team asking to set up an initial interview (4 hours onsite). After that, I came back for a second round which was a full day of one-on-one meetings with other team members, HR, and even upper management. It was not too technical - most questions revolved around explaining in depth what was on my resume and "culture fit". Lunch was with two of the more entry-level people on the team, and was more casual but still seemed like an interview.
