The interview itself was not bad - very nice individuals that gave thorough explanations when I asked questions during the interview. Had an initial interview with the interviewer on the phone but he seemed more nervous than I was. I understand he was new, but I felt more training needed to be in place for him. Most questions were basic based on resume. After the initial, I proceeded with the onsite. Extremely nice and friendly and I felt the interview went fairly well (once again, very basic interview questions). Afterwards, the interviewer said HR will get back to me with a follow up. I sent my TY letter and follow up, and nothing (just been ghosted by HR). I feel that it's extremely unprofessional - especially when the candidate was there for an onsite. If it was a phone interview - I get it, but having me personally go to the office and nothing...that's really upsetting and first time I ever had that experience. Please set a better flow with keeping track of candidates through an ATS. Even an automated rejection would have been better than no reply at all.
