I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GitHub (Denver, CO) in Oct 2021
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone conversation. Was told that it had the possibility to be remote for the right candidate.
The day comes for the first interview. No phone call nothing. The recruiter says they lost internet access and cant make a phone call. A bit bizarre.
We make a new date to chat. That date comes up, this time the recruiter is sick and cant chat.
I wait a few days and follow up about the process. I am bluntly told "they want to change the job role base to the west coast, if you interested cool, if not sorry"
Yes, they actually said that. The recruiter was below poor in manners and seeing them on linkedin not having been at one job longer than 6-7 months told me all I needed to know.
