I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GitLab in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process was quick and efficient and conducted via a Zoom Video Conference meeting. All scheduling was accomplished online and the GitLab team was quick to respond and confirm interview times. The first interview was a screening done with the recruiter to assess whether or not my skills and values would be a good fit for GitLab. Following the screening, the next set of interviews were conducted with various team members. Including the screening, there were a total of 5 interviews. One thing I really valued is that the interviewers were very transparent with whether or not I would be moving on to the next round. Most of the interview questions were behavioral based.
