1 month and 4 interviews. First interview was with the VP of Marketing, which went exceedingly well and I thought we really hit it off.
Second meeting was with the VP again and a member of the sales leadership. Again, I thought this went exceedingly well, considering one of the members of the panel couldn't come and I put together a slide deck for a week and a half beforehand.
Third meeting was with the CRO, which I don't think went quite as well, but they decided to progress me. Finally, I was supposed to meet with the CEO, which was changed last minute to the person who couldn't make interview 2. Again, I thought it went well, but not as well as the first two.
Really, what makes this a negative review is my true disappointment in this executive leadership team. I had to reach out after several days to see what the next steps were, only to be told they were going with other candidates, good luck in your search. That was it. No feedback, no reasoning, just treated me like I had only done a screening interview. I feel the handling of my rejection (again not the rejection itself) after the time I put in was unprofessional and just plain rude.
