Interview
Two rounds: recruiter screen and interview with two portfolio managers. The recruiter screen contained some pretty standard questions, and also asked me to self-evaluate various skills, such as Excel and Powerpoint, on the scale of "Beginner", "Intermediate", or "Expert". The interview with two portfolio managers contained some fairly standard behavioral questions, with a couple questions more specific to portfolio/investment management, with some time for Q&A.
The interview process was fairly straightforward. It began with a phone screening with HR, followed by a one-hour final round interview with two senior members of the team. The questions focused mainly on my resume, why I was interested in the firm and the position, and the conversations were designed to get to know me better rather than test technical knowledge. Overall, it felt like a mix of behavioral questions and a professional discussion.
