The interview is a bit weird. I have always been praised by my managers and clients for my knowledge on the platform, especially with the HRSD module. The interview was an hour long and I felt like I was taking a test. They talk about the company and job for about 10 minutes, give you about 5 minutes to talk about your experience and the rest of the hour is a straight up exam. I was asked about 30 questions on ServiceNow terminology and they expect you to know the exact answer on this. I believe this is a horrible approach and they’re passing on many great applicants. They seem to want people by the book and not people who will think outside the box and actually think like consultants. After my first interview which I answered most of my questions correct, and all my HR ones correct, I was told “you truly know your HR stuff about the platform, we should have you speak with the solutions consultant team as you will be a great addition to their team!” Mind you I was interviewing for an HRSD role, so that comment was odd to me. I interviewed with the other team after the recruiter told me the initial feedback he received about me was outstanding! The second interview also went pretty well, but I was honest with that team and told them my knowledge about CSM was not as great as HRSD. I answered about 70% of their questions regarding CSM correctly and their feedback was that I was best suited for the HRSD role. After this I was ghosted for about 3 weeks, I reached out to the recruiter and he told me he got good feedback and will touch base on next steps. It’s been 3 months since then and I have not heard anything. This just gives glidefast a bad look, I truly hope they get their stuff together and change the way they interview because as a previous leader and somebody who has interviewed people before, they are passing on so many great talent by running their interviews as if this was a ServiceNow exam, horrible practice.
