I completed the first interview and then heard absolutely nothing afterwards. No update nor feedback, which is disappointing. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful of candidates’ time and preparation. Even a short acknowledgement or closure email would have been appropriate. The role was focused on people and culture, yet the candidate experience I received showed the opposite of good people practice. How a company treats its candidates is often a mirror of its internal culture and in this case the lack of communication speaks for itself.
