Globe Life Entry Level Sales Representative interview questions

It all started with a phone call where they asked you to watch an overview seminar of the company, I was unable to make the seminar since it was the same night as I received the call. They did follow up the next day asking if I was interested and I said I was but I was not interested in watching the seminar but would love to chat with somebody about what the position would entail. The only thing the recruiter would say is that I had to watch the overview for more information. My follow-up questions are did she either A.) not know anything about the company so she couldn't share or B.) didn't want to. The whole experience gave super weird vibes, very pyramid scheme like...
