It was a phone call, set appt to meet, short one on one interview, then went into a group setting with about 10 people and watched a presentation by the Owner/Agent. Told to watch for callback that day if interested in me. Got call back, made long interview appointment next day, went in, told basically the only job available was going into "management". In other words, life insurance salesman. I was told in the prior phone calls they had a couple openings, either benefits support or management intro. Found out only positions open for support staff are located at home office in Texas! I advised from the first day that my career goal was to avoid Sales/Marketing! Told them again in long interview! STILL managed to convince me to "try" this life changing opportunity and went to charging ME for the training services, background check and licensing fees. First charge (and last) was $59 for an excel course. So, if you want to have an "opportunity" to sell their product, and are willing to pay to train, license and market yourself for no cost to them, they WILL give you that opportunity. I chose to decline in the end, but if you're a salesman at heart, then make up your own mind if it's worth it or not.......
