Ok, this particular branch were hiring through a recruiter, who were pretty vague about the job. I arrived and it was a group presentation talking about the history of the company etc, and had us fill out a questionairre after. Then I had a brief meeting with a supervising agent - literally less than 10 minute conversation. I got the impression they were just getting a quick read on potential candidates. That evening I got a call from an agency director - we had about a 20 minute conversation where he explained what the job entailed and if I could commit to their schedule etc. That went well enough to get a second interview for the following afternoon. to come in for a second interview for the fol

It's selling insurance on commission, so I was mainly asked about my goals, and if I could make the commitment to that sort of job - 1099, commission only, irregular hours, etc.

You have a 2 min quick are you good for this job. Pretty sure they say yes to most all people because they then send you in a room with 10 other people and talk about how much money you can make. It felt like they are trying to sell you a timeshare. Even though you are going to be selling people life insurance. I don't think it's a bad job just not the job for me.
