Globe Life Liberty National Division interview questions

I was told to dress in professional business attire, but I was the only one who appeared to follow that dress code, including the current employees and interviewing manager. I immediately felt uncomfortably over-dressed. About a dozen people were called in to interview at the same time, for the same job, on the same day. I was asked to sign in with the front desk clerk, whose desk was such a wreck she couldn't find the sign in sheet, despite knowing it would be needed ahead of time. After completing an official application, I was taken in to the manager's office for a 1:1 interview. The office smelled strongly of her lunch, which she was eating during out interview. After the initial interview, she shook my hand (getting ranch dressing on me) and escorted me into a conference room to wait while she interview the other applicants. While waiting, I was asked to complete a questionnaire. Some examples were: How competitive are you? What are you looking for in a job? ALL of the other applicants, including the one dressed in shabby, ripped clothing with exposed tattoos all over who could barely put together a sentence, made it past the initial interview and we were asked to sit though a 1 hour powerpoint presentation about the benefits of the company. Once the presentation was finished, we were allowed to complete the questionnaire, had we not done so before the presentation. Then, we were taken for another 1:1 interview with a different employee, who did not state his specific title. He asked if I was interested in the position after having seen the presentation. I immediately declined.

You arrive at the insurance office and sign in, they ask for your email and phone number which they already have so that seemed a little weird. Then they take you one on one to ask you a little about yourself and to ask if you know its a sale position, if you have a laptop, and if you have a car. You are then put into a room with other applicants and fill out a basic application. They do a presentation on Liberty National, telling you how you make money and how the company works essentially which takes about an hour. They then take you individually again to ask if you have any questions and it is over. They pretty much offered me the job on the spot and I was given a business card and told to call if I have any further questions or change my mind at all. I didn't really feel like it was an interview at all, more of them trying to sell themselves.
