The first manager interview was a great experience — professional, engaging, and conversational. She seemed thoughtful, respectful, and genuinely like someone I would enjoy working for.
The second interview, was a very different experience. He had an aggressive tone, and repeatedly pressed in a way that felt antagonistic rather than exploratory. The conversation felt uncomfortable and dismissive, and did not reflect a respectful or supportive leadership style.
Based on that experience, I would strongly caution candidates to proceed carefully.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Globus Medical (Audubon, PA) in Dec 2008
Interview
Interview consisted of 1:1 interviews with direct manager and then the VP of the department. I also met with the HR person to go over benefits. Standard interview questions such as describing past job history, what are your strengths/weaknesses, what can you bring to Globus, etc.... A good prep would be to choose a few online sites and research general interview questions.
The company culture seemed professional but almost uptight. The office was very clean and generally quiet in all the areas I visited. Perks are pretzels on one day of the week, year end bonuses, and I think someone mentioned holiday gifts to each employee every year like an iPod.
