A rep reached out to me and asked me if I’d like to interview for a position because they thought I’d be a great fit. I answered the pre-lim questions and he green lighted me for the next round. I then interviewed with my would be manager and walked away with a good experience, and an invitation to interview in person. Leading up to the interview however, I was given a project with specific parameters that I was tasked to present to the hiring team. Globus flew me out for the in person interview and put me up in a hotel for the evening. I was picked me up the next morning, gave my presentation, met with the team, and then met with the original HR rep who had coordinated this process. I was told that the interview went well and I could expect an offer within the next day or two, and to reach out if I had any questions. I flew back feeling good and looking forward to the new next few days. Then, nothing. Globus completely ghosted me. I sent several emails to the HR rep, messaged him on LinkedIn, and received no response, feedback, or explanation why I wasn’t offered the position. Don’t get me wrong, I was disappointed I didn’t get the job, but I’d have gotten over it. I was more upset that they just ghosted me after all of the time I had put into the interview process, and the fact that they sought me out, I wasn’t some Joe that applied to a posting. I have had some bad experience with other companies, but nothing to this degree. If you don’t receive any response after one or two follow ups, they probably ghosted you. 0/10 will interview here again.
