      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GoDaddy in May 2016

      Interview

My interview experience with GoDaddy was very disappointing. I completed a phone screen with a recruiter, and a follow up interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, contrary to the e-mail that you receive after applying that "no one likes radio silence, so please feel free to follow up" - I received exactly this - nothing but radio silence. I tried to follow up with both the recruiter and hiring manager to find out if I was still in the running for the position, and neither person replied to my e-mails, even after the position had been filled. Lack of common courtesy and follow up tarnishes your employment brand GoDaddy. It is completely acceptable and understandable for a company of your size to not respond to every applicant. However, if someone goes through 2 interviews, and then hears nothing but "radio silence" from you even after following up with you to request a status update, that is bad recruitment practices. Common courtesy and follow up go along way for those of us who did our best to impress you.

Thank you for detailing your candidate experience in May of this year. My colleagues and I can only agree - this is not the experience we would have wanted you to have. It is not how we want our applicants and candidates to be treated - ever. There are discussions now going on about what/how things should be changed here at GoDaddy. However, only subsequent candidate reviews will show if our corrections were successful from the candidate's perspective.
