I got a call sometime in February 2019 and I had an interview with a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer who asked me questions about my experience, internship and one of my portfolio projects. After 2 weeks I was given an opportunity to go onsite. But the very next day they told me that the team had hired someone else and they could not go ahead with the onsite interview. I totally understood the situation as it can happen sometimes, but the team and HR need to have better coordination in the process. The day the canceled my onsite, I got another opportunity with GoDaddy for the Security Architect role. The call was with a Sr. Director - Software Developer. This round was a video call where I was going to be asked about my experience and coding. My interview was supposed to be at 1:30 PM, but my interviewer did not join the call. So I waited until 1:40 and dropped a mail to the HR, who told me that they will contact the interviewer and get back to me. I was still on the call hoping the interview would happen, but at 2:30 the HR sent me a mail stating that they had a change of plans and would not go ahead with the interview. The HR also told that she would call me the next day (don't know why), but that didn't happen either. The only thing that came to my mind After the interview process was "GoDaddy is unprofessional". Maybe this was just a mistake by them, but this was a very unpleasant process for me, and I did not even receive an apology for the way they treated me.
