I applied early May. Received an e-mail from a recruiter May 6th, scheduled the phone interview for May 10th, 2:30pm. On May 10th, 1 hour before my phone interview, I received an e-mail from the recruiter stating the role was placed on hold and I would be contacted again once the role was live. On June 28th, I received two separate e-mails stating pretty much 'thanks for applying and your experience is impressive but we selected another candidate at this time.' GoDaddy was extremely unprofessional as they clearly lied that the role was on hold. Be transparent.
