The experience was characterized by poor communication on GoDaddy's side. It had been positive until the "sample task" that was assigned after multiple rounds of interviews. I was progressed through the system without trouble at each stage, but when I reached the task, they started to fumble my application a little. I was verbally accepted to the next round, but the system gave me a cancellation notice 10 minutes after the interview. I was able to get a message to the hiring manager through a personal connection (the HR person wouldn't help), and was manually moved further on in the process. The objective was to create a learning solution (a procedural eLearning on how to make a paper airplane, asking the designer to be creative and have fun), but when I submitted it, it was clear that the hiring manager was expecting something much more formal--she said she'd provide feedback. When nothing came, I asked HR for feedback and was told they couldn't give any. So, again, miscommunications abound. I felt really undervalued by the whole process.

Very efficient. Applied, heard back within 3-4 weeks, had phone screening. I didn't progress further in the process from that and was notified via email that they were moving forward with other candidates.
