4 rounds in total, first round was DSA and system Design, medium level max heap question was asked, I completed the approach and implementation part in 15 mins, so alot of time was there to ask in system design, for which I was not well prepared, asked to design Aamzon like system and asked bunch of AWS specific questions Second round is for design round as mentioned by HR but it was not exactly that, it was a coding round, where a problem statement of detecting plagarism was given (this question would be team specific, someone for the team you are being hired for will ask question something related to what type of problem you might be dealing with while working there) This round went really well, I had an executable code with all the testcases working correctly third was supposed to be behaviourial, I prepared for behaviourial question but in Interview, a small python coding question with incomplete functions and classes were there after which one system design question something around inventory management service This round was like a surprise test and it went well last round where someone from other team takes the interview, it was purely System Design after asking few generic queries on AWS and design related problems for managing queues, DLQs etc. Post a design question similar to inventory management service asked to write inventory management service pseudo code in one or two classes and function to see how I'm writing DB calls while taking care of retries on failures this was the best round out of all 4 as it was real brainstorming and interviewer tried judging each and every part of core backend development. All the rounds happened within a week but they really lack on proving final words and feedback of the rounds I had to wait for final results for a week and got the answer only after following up that I was through, I have cleared all the rounds, but was not up to the mark of SDE3 role, i will be hired for SDE2 where the said compensation before appearing for interview will get lowered as they do not offer anything around for SDE2 what they offer for SDE3 there was so much of difference between the two posts offerenig, it was very clear that the HR is trying there best to negotiate, they did made an offer which wasn't even near to what I expected as well as not even same as what I was getting as base in my current compensation. I wanted to join GoDaddy, as I felt people are really good to work with, I gave my best to prepare well for interviews, but the compensation part made me disheartened.
