Interview
The interview process is simple. All I can say is don't even apply. As a current employee of this company, SAVE YOURSELF. You may think this is your foot in the door to the industry, it isn't. The turnover rate is so high due to flight attendants quitting or being fired for ridiculous reasons such as using a captain's first name during an announcement (when the captain asked them to do so). This company breeds hostility. There is no I in team and there is no team at GoJet. The biggest bonding experience between pilots and flight attendants is how much we hate the company. I read these glassdoor reviews before applying and chose not to believe them. In training I was told these were made by disgruntled former employees. That is a lie. Every employee at GoJet is disgruntled. Flight attendants who have been there for 7 years will tell you "GET OUT" as soon as they know you are new. People get stuck due to the ease of having a line and not wanting to deal with being on reserve (on call) for years. If you are chicago based, you will be on reserve for about a year and a half...if you don't quite or are fired in that time span. Again, I read reviews like this and thought "I'm sure it isn't that bad" ...but it is. My advice is to apply to any other regional airline if you are under 21 and start right at mainline if you meet the age requirement. Take this advice, if not...I'm sure I'll see you and tell you to "GET OUT" in person.
