Gong Recruiter interview questions

I was contacted by Gong for a position and had a great initial call with the recruiter. The following week I was scheduled to speak with the manager and the interview was very high level. Most of the questions were about why I left last positions, rather than about my experience or skill set. I then received a "no-reply" rejection that the role had been filled first thing the next morning. Feels like a waste of time to pursue passive candidates when you clearly have an offer extended for the position.
