Received call from recruiter after applying for the position fairly quickly, (within 1-2 days). I was told my skillset was a good match and my resume would be forwarded to the Hiring Manager. I received an email stating they are not interested at that time to proceed. In another, a follow up interview was setup but cancelled before it ever happened. Both rejections were from the hiring manager/team.

Question 1
Explain how you made a difference in your last project/program?
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (London, England) in Jul 2026
Interview
I first had an introductory conversation with the recruiter, who explained the role and the overall interview process. This was followed by a formal technical screening conducted over Google Meet. The interview included GCA-style questions, role-related technical questions, and programme-management scenarios. The discussion also covered cross-functional coordination, risk management, prioritisation, and handling delivery constraints. I was informed that successful candidates would proceed to additional behavioural and programme-management interviews, but my process ended after the technical screening.

Good interviewers that ask a lot of questions to gauge your domain knowledge. Do not feel daunted because they just need to know your thought process. Speak more and out loud. Think out loud.
