      Community Manager Interview

      Jan 26, 2012
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Google in Jan 2012

      Interview

A recruiter contacted me for this position and I submitted my resume. Had a phone interview with the hiring manager, and they arranged for a follow-up phone interview with team members. I asked what the following steps were after, and the team member said they weren't sure and would get back to me. I waited two weeks without hearing anything and contacted the recruiter, who told me they hired someone else.

      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Great interview, but unfortunately the process was cut short due to budget cuts and the role being absorbed. So many great resources to prep for these interviews online! Highly recommend applying and studying for the interviews/interview style if you’re able to get to an interview round.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There were a lot of culture-based questions in my initial interview about what it means to be a “Googler”

      Interview

It was very easy and the interviewers were nice people although sometimes I wish they could listen better and stop smoking their vape pens. They were clear about the process and the expectations.
