I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google in Mar 2017
Interview
The Interview Process was overall very positive.
There are 4 interviews in total. The first one was a phone interview, the second and third one were back to back interviews also on the phone and the third one was a google hangouts video interview. All interviews were technical except for the last one which had a bit of a behavioral side to it. The interview process overall took about 3 months, it could have been faster but they were flexible enough to give me time to prepare before my interviews, so i kind of spread them out a little bit.
I highly recommend Leetcode for practicing the types of questions that are most common in these interviews.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Oct 2019
Interview
I was contacted to conduct two back-to-back 45m phone interviews. After completing these I was asked to do two back-to-back 45m hangouts calls. The format was very similar. Overall it took about two months between applying and receiving an offer.
