Interview
A very robotic process. Interviewers are more focused on typing everything you say than having a conversation. Found the whole thing very unnatural. They are more worried about typing than listening or getting to know the potential candidate. By trying to automate and standarize the process, they went overboard.

Tell me about a situation where you faced resistence and pushback to change.
3 rounds of interview with someone from the team, the hiring manager, and a cross functional peer. Interview was once every two weeks. Interview assesses RRK, GCA, Leadership and Googleyness
Super sketchy emails from third parties that look like phishing emails - I almost deleted them.
Once you get through to the Google employees themselves, the recruiters extremely flaky - getting passed from one individual to another, with extremely clunky handoff. I understand there's high volume, but this does not speak highly of Google's culture which is known to have fallen off a cliff in the last six months.
They use canned email to make it sound impressive, but execution was extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Definitely not leaving a great impression on me as a business owner, or consumer.
