I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Google in Jul 2013
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter for position. Had a first-round phone interview and it went well. Was informed I was through to second round and would be interviewed by a team member in the department where the vacancy was. it was going to be a sales pitch to a bank, followed by an interview. interviewer was extremely tough and interupted the sales pitch numerous times and was being an extremely difficult "customer".

the process is very fast. i got 4 rounds of interview within 2 weeks, and got the feedback right after each round of interviews. sometimes its depends on the chemistry between you and the interviewer.
The process is really complicated, questions are really detailed. Need to prepare. Wishing you all huge success! I had 3 rounds and a prep call. Recruiters are really easy going and responsive.
Disorganized recruiting with random meeting invites with no explanations. Interviewer wasn’t welcoming at all and seemed to not care at all about the interview. The feedback call after the interview sounded like recruiter was reading an AI generating summary of the interview, which felt not personal at all. Overall awful experience.
