I was initially contacted at the end of October inquiring about a phone interview. I responded to a few questions regarding my availability and asking about any deadlines they need to be aware of as well as a few other standard questions. I was contacted a few days later setting up my phone interview, and they later set up my second phone interview so that it immediately followed my first. This was likely because I had an interview with another company, so they felt a need to speed up my process.
Anyway, from the time of the initial contact to the phone interview itself was 12 days.
Now, for the interview itself. It was just coding in Google Docs. The first interviewer was helpful and willing to give guidance despite my struggles. He seemed to be enthusiastic about his job and had a positive attitude, which made that experience more bearable. He was very willing to answer questions at the end of the interview, despite us going over the allotted time.
The second interviewer was mostly silent, not very supportive, and kept asking me if I was finished. My interview was cut it short without really much explanation. Due to a combination of fatigue and disgust, I chose not to ask any questions to the second interviewer.
Hopefully, you end up with interviewers more like my first one, and not like the second.
