Asked about previous research experience. The interviewer has read one of my previous paper and asked some questions about it. Also extended to some behavioral questions, including collaboration styles and how to solve conflicts.
I had two online interviews followed by an onsite interview. There weren’t too many questions, but the in-person one was the longest. Hoping for better luck next time! Technical interview was more difficult than expected.
The interview mainly focuses on your research experience. In my case, it delved deeply into a paper I recently published, and I was asked about several details of its results.
