Interview
Very long process, but it's quite the experience!
They hold group interviews where they spit the group into teams to create a vessel out of straws and tape for an "egg drop". Then, you have to pitch a trip for said egg.
The purpose of this is to see how well each associate works individually within the group and collaboratively. I'd definitely suggest anyone interested in this job to go into it with a VERY open mind.
After the group interviews you'll have to take a test to see how well you utilize resources and then while you wait for your one-on-one interview, they have you listen in on a call to get an idea of what the calls are like.
This is a very fun company to work for and they'll certainly be willing to train anyone who holds true to their values even if they are lacking in experience. Great opportunities.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
During the group interview, they give the teams a "difficult world event" scenario and ask the teams to take a couple of minutes to decide and present how they personally would handle their assigned crisis. It's intimidating but also VERY realistic as to what you can expect in the industry.
would not recommend extremely long for no reason, multiple interviews just for entry level, low paying roles you will work weekends rude staff They do not respect your time. They have a bad reputation and that reputation is very on point
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Grand Circle Travel (Boston, MA)
Interview
Very fast. Passed by in 2 days from hello to offer. Lots of people waiting and we all went together with some HR person. We had all this stuff to build something with. Never seen that before. The questions were asked in front of everyone like some sort of selection for a game show. Parts were enjoyable. Not sure what else I can tell you.
