Do you know what Lake Wood Ranch does? My reply was that they are a developer. She replied that they were not. The interviewer really meant Grand Living not realizing that though LWR Grand Living has LWR in the name it is a development company. I was very surprised as the post was for FOH management but through our conversation I "discovered" that this position is more of a server that can schedule team members. The interviewer even mentioned that this position isn't over the server...Very misleading advert. A waste of time for the candidate and for the interviewer.... The interviewer was very "combative" and challenging my answers. I am 59 I have given interviews to a multitude of candidates (I have been a Fand B Director and owned several restaurants), I have been interviewed a lot time as well and never had such a "mediocre interviewer". I was looking forward to join a team that caters to the senior but obviously the function wasn't what it was posted in the posts and declined the position. On a positive note,I am certain that the service provided by Grand Living in LWR will be outstanding and the team members work condition will be up to par.
