      IT Analyst I Interview

      Aug 6, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Columbus, OH
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Grange Insurance (Columbus, OH) in Jun 2025

      Interview

I applied for the IT Analyst I role in early June and completed two interviews — first with HR, then with the software engineering manager, who acknowledged my engineering background and confirmed the position was highly technical. I felt like a strong fit for the role. After weeks of silence, I received a generic rejection email at the beginning of August — no feedback, no explanation, and not even a properly capitalized name (which I had intentionally submitted with a typo to test for personalization). The lack of professionalism and communication made the experience feel careless and disheartening.
