I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Grant Thornton (Williamsburg, VA) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process was very laid back. I scheduled the interview through campus recruiting, and I had two 30-minute interviews. Both interviewers really tried to make the process more conversational, and the questions were mostly behavioral. They ask about your interests, why you think you suit the position, etc. They were very friendly and courteous, and all of the employees seemed to have good relationships with one another.
Fast and quick as the interview and offer was given on the same day. Overall mostly questions from the resume and just be prepared to walk through them. Abit of technical stuff as well.
They asked very basic questions related to accounting and finance . They asked to solve a bank recon and case study in my second round and final was personal interview
Great process thru and thru. The interviewers were very knowledgable. at first i was nervous but the partners were really personable as well which made it easier. i think that this is also what ultimately made me want to join the firm
