I applied online and heard from HR a few weeks after. Had a 30 minute conversation/phone screen with HR who asked some basic behavior based questions and had me go through my resume. I followed up twice and after the 2nd email, the HR contact let me know that I would be contacted by the hiring manager. A week later I still hadn't heard back from the manager so I emailed HR once more who informed me that the manager had called and left a message. I didn't receive any voicemails from the manager. However, he did email me right away and we proceeded to schedule a phone interview.
The interview with the manager was actually the director of Supply Chain. Interview lasted 16 minutes and I was surprised it wasn't more structured. He asked me the following questions, and I was surprised none of them were behavior based:
1. Company works in a fast-paced and demanding environment, what is your experience with that? Can you handle it?
2. We work in teams all the time - what is your experience with that?
3. What is the biggest challenge you see in this role?
4. What do you like about this role/company?
5. What are your thoughts on relocation?
6. What kind of salary do you have in mind?
I asked him what the hiring process is and he said if I move onto the next round it will be on site panel interviews.
